Always got the latest movies and good snacks to eat like the tango ice blast however prices are mental which is the same for all cinemas so guess its not that bad. Worth going for the experience of the cinema though.
Amazing service and clean environment!! With cinema for all you can watch any film.amy time for 4.99!!!! Fabulous that they would adopt this pricing and make cinema available to everyone without needing a second mortgage!! Well done Halifax Vue!!

19/4/18 Nice venue and attractive interior although it is in need of refurbishment/repair in places due to damp, they were 20 minutes late opening the front doors so it's a good job it wasn't raining, the cost of sweets, drinks etc is extortionate so buy before you go (obviously not the ice cream though!) I have never seen so many staff before at a venue like this as there must have been 30 people and the bar staff lacked courtesy and manners as well, overall it's OK but it could be a lot better with some improved effort at customer service!
The refreshments and decor were good. I have to say I found the Russian Ballet of Siberia and their orchestra did not impress as much as the Northern Ballet company when they also performed Swan Lake at the same venue. The dancers were excellent but the musical arrangement was less than stellar and apart from the beautiful costumes the look and feel was not of the same standard. The NBC created an edgy and haunting performance that still stirs me almost 20 years later and the Russian performance felt hurried as the end approached and lacked substance. At the curtain call most of the cast were missing. I felt short changed and frankly got the impression some of the cast were more committed to getting away than giving a good performance. In relation to the seating. I am only 5 foot 3 and struggled with the available leg room in my seating area, although the view of the stage was largely fine. I think it is about time theatres also reported on leg room being restricted in some seating as they do in relation to any restrictions in relation to viewing the stage. Both of these things effect enjoyment of a production. My husband who is about 6 foot was in agony by the end of the performance and still has pains in his knees 3 days later.

Great little venue. The only downside, the bar/ coffee bar is downstairs, as are the toilets.
First gig of Maddy Prior's tour. Great show.

I went to see Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde last night and it was fantastic, I never really used to go to the square chapel in it's old format but this new one make it looks fantastic. The reception area is large and welcoming a perfect place to meet and have a drink before the show. The theatre is a nice size so that everyone can see but also feels personal, I was sat on the back row and I still felt as though the actors were talking to me. I really enjoyed it and I will be back
Great place! We have started going here regularly for shows and events. Wife and daughter went to the interactive Great Gatsby show, and were buzzing for a week after. Great schedule of films, talks, shows (music and drama) and events in a great (newly developed) location.
